ACCREDITATION

All three BUSD high schools – Bellflower, Mayfair, and Somerset – have six year accreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

DISTINGUISHED

BUSD has had 10 schools recognized as California Distinguished Schools, 3 National Blue Ribbon Schools, and 2 Title I Achievement Schools. Somerset Continuation High School has received the Model Continuation High School designation four consecutive times.
